My Favorite Superfoods "Choco-Berry" Smoothie

HELLO BEAUTIFUL ONE,

I am a big fan of getting all of the "bang for my buck" I can get. Especially when it comes to my morning smoothies. Trying to hang in there on a raw foods lifestyle can be challenging at times even though, in my case, it's the lifestyle that seems to work best. So, I am always inventing and re-inventing my smoothies as I try to aim for at least 64 ounces of it each day. I also add as many "superfoods" as I can to help power me through the day. I find that when I feed my cells well in the morning, I don't struggle with cravings later in the day. This is a principle I try to encourage in all of my coaching clients, "feed your cells" vital nutrients first thing in the morning!

Spirulina is one of my new favorite superfoods and here are just a few reasons why:

Now, here's one of my most "favoritest" smoothie recipes!

"CHOCO-BERRY GREEN ENERGY MACHINE"

  • 8 OUNCES CHOCOLATE ALMOND MILK

  • 8 OUNCES FILTERED WATER

  • 2-3 FROZEN RIPE BANANAS

  • 1 CUP FROZEN STRAWBERRIES( they synergize the powerful effects of the raw cacao)

  • 5-6 SOAKED PITTED DATES

  • 2 HANDFULS GREENS (Spinach or Kale)

  • 1 SCOOP OF SPIRULINA

  • 1 TABLESPOON RAW CACAO POWDER

INSTRUCTIONS:

Blend until silky smooth and enjoy!!!
